Pay data: three months to September 2026

Two research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of September 2026.

• Brightmine shows the median award at 3.1% for the three months to September. Nearly two thirds of awards were between 3% and 3.99%, with median settlements of 3% across manufacturing, private sector services and charities.
• Incomes Data Research shows the median pay award across the whole economy was 3.5% in the three months to September 2026 (interquartile range: 3.0% to 3.8%).
