March 2025 inflation data
The UK’s inflation rate in March 2025, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 2.6%.
The detailed figures for the year to March 2025 are:
- CPI inflation was 2.6% in March 2025 (Index: 136.5), down from 2.8% in the year to February
- RPI* inflation was 3.2% in March 2025 (Index: 395.3), down from 3.4% in the year to February
- CPIH inflation was 3.4% in March 2025 (Index: 136.1), down from 3.7% in the year to February
*The Office for National Statistics no longer regards the RPI as an official measure of inflation.
