Pay data: three months to July 2026

Two research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of July 2026.

• Brightmine shows the median award at 3.2% for the three months to July. More than seven in 10 (71%) of settlements were between 2% and 3.99%, with 3% the single most common award value.
• Incomes Data Research show the median pay award across the whole economy was 3.3% in the three months to July 2026 (interquartile range: 3.0% to 4.0%).
