The UK’s inflation rate in February 2026, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 3.0%.

The detailed figures for the year to February 2026 are:

  • CPI inflation was 3.0x% in February 2026 (Index: 140.1), unchanged from the previous month
  • RPI* inflation was 3.6% in February 2026 (Index: 408.2), down from 3.8% in the year to January
  • CPIH inflation was 3.2% in February 2026 (Index: 140.0) unchanged from the previous month

*The Office for National Statistics no longer regards the RPI as an official measure of inflation.
