The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has published new workplace monitoring guidance.

Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of August 2023.

The UK’s inflation rate in August 2023, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 6.7%.

Workers are to be given the legal right to request a predictable working pattern, but not until 2024. It's reported however that the new Labour government will not bring these provisions into force, but instead will include strengthened rights for workers in the forthcoming Employment Rights Bill.
