Pay data: three months to May 2025
Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of May 2025.
- Incomes Data Research shows the median pay award across the whole economy at 3.4% for the three months to May (interquartile range: 2.7% to 4.6%).
- Brightmine recorded a median basic pay award of 3.0% for the three months to the end of May. However, median pay awards in the public sector stand at 4.4%.
- LRD Payline shows pay deals averaging 4.0% for the lowest paid in the three months to May 2025. The private sector saw deals average 4.0%, while the public sector averaged 3.4%.
