Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of March 2025.

• Incomes Data Research focuses on the private sector where the median pay award was 3.5% in the three months to March (interquartile range: 3.0% - 4.0%).
• Brightmine recorded a median basic pay award of 3.0% across the whole economy for the three months to the end of March (interquartile range 2.5% to 3.5%). Early indications from April deals reveals that 3% will remain the median.
• Deals reported to the LRD Payline averaged 3.2% for the lowest paid, this was consistent across manufacturing and services, while the public sector came in slightly lower at 3.1%.
