October 2025 inflation data

The UK’s inflation rate in October 2025, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 3.6%.

The detailed figures for the year to October 2025 are:

  • CPI inflation was 3.6% in October 2025 (Index: 139.8), down from 3.8% in the year to September
  • RPI* inflation was 4.3% in October 2025 (Index: 407.4), down from 4.5% in the year to September
  • CPIH inflation was 3.8% in October 2025 (Index: 139.5), down from 4.1% in the year to September

*The Office for National Statistics no longer regards the RPI as an official measure of inflation.
