NMW and NLW rates from April 2026

The National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage rates will increase from 1st April 2026 as follows:

  • 21-year-olds and over (National Living Wage) – from £12.21 to £12.71 per hour (4.1% increase)
  • 18–20-year-olds – from £10.00 to £10.85 per hour (8.5% increase)
  • 16–17-year-olds and apprentices – from £7.55 to £8.00 per hour (6% increase)
  • Accommodation offset – from £10.66 to £11.10 (4.1% increase)
