The UK’s inflation rate in October 2021, as measured by the CPI, was 4.2%.

The inflation measures for the year to October 2021 are as follows:

• CPIH inflation was 3.8 % in October 2021 (Index: 113.4), up from 2.9% in the year to September 2021
• CPI inflation was 4.2% in October 2021 (Index: 113.6), up from 3.1% in the year to September 2021
• RPI inflation was 6.0% in October 2021 (Index: 312.0), up from 4.9% in the year to September 2021

Note that the Office for National Statistics no longer regards RPI as an official measure of inflation.
