April 2018 inflation data
The UK’s main inflation measure falls to 2.4%, its lowest level since March 2017.
The inflation measures for the year to April 2018 are as follows:
- CPI inflation was 2.4% in April (Index: 105.4), down from 2.5% in the year to March
- CPIH inflation was 2.2% in April (Index: 105.5), down from 2.3% in the year to March
- RPI inflation was 3.4% in April (Index: 279.7), up from 3.3% in the year to March
