Modern slavery: new registry launched
A central registry for modern slavery statements has been launched.
As part of its proposed reforms to modern slavery the government proposed the creation of a new central government portal - currently such statements must be published on the website of affected organisations. The new portal can be accessed here. Uploading of modern slavery statements to the new portal is currently voluntary (as to make it mandatory as the government wants requires new legislation).
