Pay data: three months to September 2025
Various research bodies have published pay data for the three months to the end of September 2025, as well as a prediction for 2026 settlements.
- Brightmine recorded a median basic pay award of 3.0% for the three months to the end of September. This 3% figure is also the predicted median settlement over the next 12 months for all three broad sectors – private-sector services, manufacturing and production, and not-for-profit.
- Incomes Data Research also shows the median pay award across the whole economy at 3.0% for the three months to September. (interquartile range: 2.5% to 4.0%).
- According to the LRD Payline, pay deals were averaging 3.4% for the lowest paid in the three months to September 2025, with the public sector median at 3.6%.
