Pay data: three months to February 2022
Various research organisations have published pay data for the three months to the end of February 2022.
- Data from the Labour Research Department shows the median standard increase for the three months to February at 3.3%.
- XpertHR recorded a median basic pay award of 3.0% across the whole economy for the three months to the end of February (lower quartile: 2.5%; upper quartile: 4.8%). Pay freezes stand at 3.5%. Looking ahead, XpertHR predicts, based on over 300 responses from employers, a median award of 3% over the course of 2022, with 40% of awards likely to be worth 4% or more.
- The median pay award across the whole economy stood at 3.0% for the three months to February, according to the latest analysis by Incomes Data Research - interquartile range: 2.5%-4.0%.
