Minimum wage rates from April 2020
The rates of the National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage from 1 April 2020 are as follows:
- The National Living Wage for ages 25 and above - up 6.2% from £8.21 to £8.72
- The National Minimum Wage for 21 to 24-year-olds - up 6.5% from £7.70 to £8.20
- The National Minimum Wage for 18 to 20-year-olds - up 4.9% from £6.15 to £6.45
- The National Minimum Wage for under-18s - up 4.6% from £4.35 to £4.55
- The National Minimum Wage for apprentices - up 6.4% from £3.90 to £4.15
- Accommodation offset – up 8.6% from £7.55 to £8.20
