The UK’s main inflation measure in July 2018 rose to 2.5%.

The inflation measures for the year to July 2018 are as follows:

• CPI inflation was 2.5% in July (Index: 105.8), up from 2.4% in the year to June
• CPIH inflation was 2.3% in July (Index: 105.9), unchanged from the year to June
• RPI inflation was 3.2% in July (Index: 281.7), down from 3.4% in the year to June
