Compromise Agreements

A compromise agreement records the agreement between an employer and an employee to end an employment relationship. It is a technical document which will only be legally binding if the employee has received advice from an adviser authorised by law before signing it, usually this is a solicitor. The reason for this is that by signing the agreement you are giving up your rights to bring a claim against your employer, so before you sign it you want to understand what claims you have, if any, and what those claims would be worth.

Whether you have been given a compromise agreement or want to find a solicitor to send your employee to, then we can provide a fast and efficient service to ensure that any employee is fully aware of their rights and options and conclude matters as quickly as possible.
